Historical NoteThe City Club of Cleveland promotes both free speech and the free exchange of ideas among a diverse membership. Incorporated in 1912, the City Club established itself as an impartial, non-partisan organization, providing the venue for discussion of political, social, and economic issues. The weekly Forum, presented during the Friday lunch hour, reflects organizational goals. The Forum consists of a formal speech, roundtable discussion, or debate, often on controversial topics. An audience question and answer period follows.
