| Summary Note | Summary: Descendants of William Landes (1850-1923), son of Samuel and Susanna Landes of Madison Twp., Montgomery Co., Ohio, and his wife Lucinda Smith (1856-1942), daughter of Elder John and Susannah Wolf Smith. They married on Feb. 11, 1875 and later that year joined the German Baptist Church. They had nine children. Descendants live in Ohio, Illinois, Minnesota, West Virginia, California and elsewhere.
