Summary NoteSummary: Ferrall & J. Weyand had been partners in publishing the Carroll County Union. Weyand went to war, and McCoy and Ferrall became partners and the Carroll County Union became the Carroll Union press. In 1869, the title changed again to: Carroll free press and numbering resumed from the original Free press of 1834.
