The greater part of the letter was printed in 1696 in "Massachusetts; or, The first planters of New-England", and reprinted in the Collections of the Massachusetts Historical Society, 1802, v. 8.
From a manuscript then lately found and believed to be the one from which the original printed edition was made, the whole letter (save some few missing lines) was for the first time printed, under the editorship of Dr. Farmer, in Collections of the New Hampshire Historical Society, 1834, v. 4, p. 224-249.
Force's reprint shows considerable variation in such minor details as spelling.
