General Note"An account of the captivity of Brayton , in 1825, when seven years old, in the neighborhood of the junction of hte Sandusky and Tycmochte rivers, in Wyandote County, Ohio, by a remnant of the once ppwerful Wyandot Indians. After having been traded from tribe to tribe, in the West, for a period of thiry-four years, he found his way back to Ohio, and related the narrative of his captivity. It was published in the Cleveland Herlad, in 1859, through the medium of which he was restored to his family."
