Wright's character, which attempts to highlight and correct charges from the Cincinnati Advertiser and the Cincinnati National Republican relating to a personal exchange of letters between politicians Wright, Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives Edward King, and Member of the Ohio House of Representatives James Martin Bell, regarding King's election to Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives.
