Part 2 is compiled from various sources, and includes "Das chronologische verzeichnis der entdeckungen der Newen welt", translated from Charlevoix's "Histoire et description generale de la Nouvelle France, 1745" (i. e. 1744) cf. Vorrede.
Baumgarten's "Vorrede" contains a bibliography of the New world.
