General NoteAn anti-Jackson campaign document, comprising a reprint, with comments, of the documents published the same year as House Report no. 140, 20th Cong., 1st sess., under title: "Tenneessee militiamen." The report of the House Committee on military affairs, accompanying the documents, is omitted from the reprint. The six militiamen were executed for mutiny at the close of the Greek war in 1814.
