 Abstract:  Andrew Jackson II was the adopted son of President Andrew Jackson and nephew of President Jackson's wife Rachel. The collection consists of an account book containing data on the purchase, sale, birth, marriage, and death of slaves at the Hermitage, 1845-1877, and a receipt book of Andrew Jackson II and Sarah Jackson, 1845-1877.
