 Abstract:  Alexander Nelson was a Methodist minister who taught at Norwalk Seminary, Worthington Female Seminary, and Baldwin Institute, in Ohio, between 1838 and 1850. He settled in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1837, but soon moved to Ohio. The collection consists of papers relating to Nelson's teaching assignments; copies of sermons and lectures on subjects such as Benedict Arnold, Western antiquities, Methodism, and the Sabbath; an address on the Bible delivered before the American Bible Society; and an autobiographical sketch.

 Abstract:  Joseph Pepoon (1797-1874) was a Presbyterian evangelist from Painesville, Ohio, who preached throughout the state. Reverend Pepoon's family settled in Painesville, Ohio, in 1804, and in 1826 he was ordained an evangelist in the Presbyterian church. The collection consists of letters, genealogical notes, and copies of sermons and lectures.

 Abstract:  Fiore D'Isidoro was a Presbyterian minister who served Second Presbyterian Church in Hazelton, Pennsylvania, Olivet Presbyterian Church in Newark, New Jersey, and St. John's Beckwith Memorial Presbyterian Church and Forestdale Presbyterian Church in Cleveland, Ohio. St. John's served Italian Protestants in Cleveland's "Little Italy" neighborhood. The collection consists of sermons delivered and publications gathered by Rev. D'Isidoro, including early records of St. John's Beckwith Memorial Presbyterian Church and a 1959 survey of neighborhood use of the church.

Badger, mostly in Gustavus, Trumbull County, Ohio, and several pages from his diary concerning the building of a schoolhouse (1823) and a trip through Shawnee Indian country to Wapakoneta, Ohio, with observations on Indian customs. Includes four sermons delivered by Rev. Isaac Van Tassel (1831-1848).
