 Abstract:  William Grey Rose (1829-1899) was a newspaper publisher and legislator, of Pennsylvania; mayor of Cleveland, Ohio; and Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Ohio in 1883. The collection consists of letters received by Rose (1852-1878), speeches, newspaper clippings, and data on the genealogy of the Rose family.

 Abstract:  Kenyon Stevenson, Sr. (1895-1957) was born in Union Township, Boone County, Indiana. He married (Bertha) Louise Hervey (1896-1996), with whom he had four children. Members of the Stevenson family have played significant roles in the early history of the United States, as well as in the twentieth century. The collection consists of 191 images. There are 184 black and white prints and seven negatives.
