Another son, Warner, was a merchant, justice of the peace, and postmaster of Strongsville, Ohio. The collection consists of correspondence, deeds, agreements, bills, memoranda, receipts, financial accounts, and other papers (1806-1856) of members of the family of John Stoughton Strong, pertaining primarily to the sale of land and the development of the township of Strongsville, Ohio.
