He served in the United States Army during World War II and designed the State Theater at Lincoln Center in New York. The collection consists of letters discussing his undergraduate days at Harvard University, his trip to Europe, his time in the army, and architectural projects he worked on while in the army.

 Abstract:  Joseph Weinberg (1890-1977) was a Cleveland, Ohio, architect who also served on the faculty of Western Reserve University and John Huntington Polytechnic Institute. He was active in many architectural societies and helped design Lakeview Terrace, a noted public housing development in Cleveland, Ohio. The collection consists of correspondence, greeting cards, school assignments, reports, certificates, programs, bulletins, materials on Harvard Class of 1912 reunions and architects' conventions, scrapbooks of newspaper clippings, and designs, drawings, blueprints and sketches by Weinberg.

 Abstract:  I. T. Frary (1873-1965) was the membership and publicity secretary of the Cleveland Museum of Art (1921-1946) and author of books concerning historic homes and properties. The collection consists of correspondence and papers relating to the Federal Art Project and the Historic American Buildings Survey, scrapbooks concerning Thomas Jefferson and the Cleveland Museum of Art, newspaper clippings, and several book manuscripts.
