The collection consists of correspondence, copies of manuscript speeches and articles by Curtis and others, and newspaper clippings, dealing primarily with Curtis' activities as director of the Pan American Union (1890-1893), and as chief of the Latin American Department of the World's Columbian Exposition (1893). Includes Curtis' articles on Christopher Columbus and various European and Latin American countries.
