Charles was manager of Burrows Publishing Company until 1912, when the brothers sold the business. Charles' daughters were Lorna Dorothea Burrows and Gladys Elgin Mott Boyd. Burrows has become Ohio's leading book, stationery, and office-supply firm. The collection consists of an unidentified diary possibly belonging to J.S.
