| Abstract: | The Cleveland Hiking Club was founded in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1919 to encourage and promote outdoor recreation for people living in northeast Ohio. The collection consists of anniversary files, audit reports, board minutes, a cookbook, constitutions, directories, event programs, financial records, hiking schedules, mileage lists, newspaper articles, newsletters, organizational history files, photographs and photo albums, and slides. The collection contains approximately 1,200 black and white photographs, 375 color photographs, and 178 slides. | |
