| Abstract: | Joseph S. Unzicker (born 1813) German-born physician from Cincinnati, Ohio, who was particularly interested in the "holy stones" found near Newark, Ohio in 1860. The collection consists of a scrapbook of newspaper clippings relating to the "holy stones" and containing drawings by Unzicker and David Wyrick. These stones were believed to be relics of the Lost Tribes of Israel. The scrapbook is thought to have been put together by Unzicker, but this cannot be definitely ascertained. | ||
