 Abstract:  The Hungarian Ladies Charity Club was organized in 1932 to aid unemployed members of the Cleveland, Ohio, Hungarian immigrant community during the Great Depression. After the Depression the club expanded its scope to aid hospitals, rest homes and other charitable organizations serving the Hungarian community. The collection consists of minutes (1938-1960) and clippings (1932, 1942, 1952).
