After the war, he continued in aviation as a pilot. In 1927, he joined the Cleveland Pneumatic Tool Company of Cleveland, Ohio, as a sales representative, later becoming vice president. He was deeply involved in the National Air Races held in Cleveland, Ohio, serving as a starter or judge. He, his wife Lucille, and his secretary Anna Belle Elmslie were killed in a plane crash in 1952. The collection consists of images of Ephraim W. "Pops" Cleveland, his wife Lucille, other family members, business associates, and aviation colleagues.
