| Abstract: | James V. Funaro served as associate editor of the Friendly Forum, the company newspaper of Thompson Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio. Funaro also worked as a freelance writer and as editor of The Cleveland Realtor, the magazine of the Cleveland Real Estate Board. CThe clection consists of portraits of aviation personalities, including Tex Rankin, Benny Howard, Roscoe Turner, Jimmy Doolittle, Amelia Earhart, Jean Assolant, Jimmie Haizlip, Frank Hawks, and Clifford Henderson; and views of aircraft. The majority of the images are of the 1932 National Air Races. Also included are images of airships, as well as various aviation newsletters. | ||
