 Abstract:  Warren H. and Mary Wick Corning were the parents of Henry Wick Corning, commander of the Cleveland Black Horse Troop during the Spanish-American War and president of the Standard Sewing Machine Company in Cleveland, Ohio. The collection consists of family correspondence, genealogical material, newspaper clippings about Mrs. Corning, and four oversize genealogical volumes on the Bushnell, Corning, Eells and allied families.

 Abstract:  Albert Gaillard Hart (1821-1907) was a physician of Cleveland, Ohio. The collection consists of correspondence, a diary (1864), lectures, reminiscences, land contracts and deeds, certificates, newspaper clippings, and other papers, chiefly relating to Hart's service as a surgeon for the 41st Regiment, Ohio Volunteer Infantry. Includes school papers from Western Reserve College, papers relating to land in Clarkesville, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, and reunions of the Bushnell family.
