| Abstract: | The Junior League of Cleveland was a women's service organization founded in 1912, in Cleveland, Ohio. The organization's constitution stated that the "object of the League shall be to foster interest among its members in the social, economic, and civic conditions of their community and to make efficient their volunteer service." The organization served the community through various activities such as musical and theatrical performances, volunteer drives, and philanthropy and among other activities to respond to community needs.
