 Abstract:  The Baldwin Reservoir in Cleveland, Ohio, was completed in 1925 to store treated water and is one of the largest covered reservoirs in the United States. George Willis Hamlin was an employee of the Cleveland Department of Public Utilities. The collection consists of 11 photograph albums containing black and white photographs of the construction of the Baldwin Reservoir of the Baldwin Filtration Plant and Fairmount Pumping Station, Fairhill Road, Cleveland, Ohio. Also included are photographs of other Cleveland, Ohio area water supply subjects, including the Division Pumping Station; Euclid Creek; the Nottingham Reservoir; trucks, cribs and tunnels under Lake Erie; and the Solon Water Tower.
