In 1981, Cleveland Mayor George Voinovich appointed him as Hispanic Liaison for the city of Cleveland. He served in that capacity until 1986. The collection consists of minutes and a history of the Spanish American Committee of Cleveland, correspondence, news releases, mailing lists, and clippings.
