Burrows has become Ohio's leading book, stationery, and office-supply firm. The collection consists of an unidentified diary possibly belonging to J.S. Burrows, was a student at Western Reserve College (late 1870s) and proprietor of The Painesville Telegraph. The collection consists of letters to Jerome B. and Jerome S. Burrows and other members of their family concerning personal and legal matters, the operation of The Painesville Telegraph, Republican Party politics in Lake County, Ohio, and political and economic affairs in Kansas and Iowa during the mid-1850s. Correspondents include Julius C. Burrows, Ezra B. Taylor, S.H.
