The collection consists of correspondence, memoranda, notes, legal proceedings, and other papers dealing primarily with the construction and operation of the Central Ontario Railroad Co. and the incorporation and affairs of the Canadian Copper Company and the Anglo-American Iron Company, three companies which Ritchie served as president.
