The activities of the colony include genealogical research on descendants of Mayflower passengers and distributing copies of the Mayflower Compact in schools. Membership is open to any proven descendant of a Mayflower passenger. The collection consists of individual and group portraits of members, including Mary Sanford Hunt, Frederick A. Van Fleet, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pratt, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis E. Allerton, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Patton, Edward Smith, and Michael Gray.
