One of its duties was the submission of weekly intelligence summaries for the information of the Secretary of War and the Chief of Staff. The collection consists of eighteen volumes of weekly war intelligence reports. The first eight volumes (numbered I-VIII) were prepared by Captain William K. Wallace, between June 2, 1917 and October 5, 1918, and have a spine title: "Weekly Intelligence Summaries."
