The collection consists of original manuscripts and galley proofs for two books by Ambler: Facts, fads and fancies about teeth (Cleveland: The Helman-Taylor Company, 1899) and History of dentistry in Cleveland, Ohio (Cleveland: Publishing House of the Evangelical Association, 1911); and speeches delivered by Ambler on topics relating to history and dentistry.

 Abstract:  Carl J. Stark (1896-1974) was a Cleveland, Ohio, dentist and president of the Northern Ohio Dental Association at the time of its dissolution in 1943. Educated at the Western Reserve University Dental School in 1918, Stark was also president of the Ohio State Dental Association in 1958. The collection consists of materials pertaining to the demise of the Northern Ohio Dental Association (NODA), NODA meeting programs, general correspondence of Carl J. Stark, and meeting programs of the Ohio State Dental Association.

 Abstract:  Louis Arthur Landy was a Cleveland, Ohio, dentist who served in World War I, worked for the American Red Cross in Palestine and the Balkans, 1919-1921, and served with the American Relief Administration in Russia, 1921-1923, helping to administer famine relief efforts there. The collection consists of a diary, newspaper articles, notebooks, school yearbooks, personal notes, school magazines, correspondence, sports memorabilia, and photographs. Includes material relating to his work with the American Relief Administration in Russia, his dental studies at Western Reserve University and his football career there in the 1910s, Central High School miscellany, and some travel materials.
