Includes letters from Aaron Woolworth, of Bridgehampton, New York, to his parents and brother, Chester Woolworth, of Longmeadow, Massachusetts, and letters to Joseph K. and Margaret (Spangler) Miller, of Cleveland, Ohio, and Joseph Woolworth, of Crawfordsville, Indiana. Also includes correspondence with Newton D. Baker, Harry I. Emerson, Edward B. Greene and Warren G. After serving in World War I he became assistant law director of Cleveland (1922-1923), city prosecutor (1928-1932) and Mayor (1932-1933). He was chairman of the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party (1938-1964).
