 Abstract:  JoAnn Lowe (b. 1941) is an artist based in Pepper Pike, Ohio, who initially served as the courtroom sketch artist for the Cleveland Jewish News during the five-week trial of Ivan (John) Demjanjuk, a former Cleveland resident arrested for his alleged involvement in the German extermination camps of World War II, held in Cleveland in 1981. Lowe then returned to volunteer as a sketch artist for Demjanjuk's second denaturalization trial in Cleveland in 2001. The collection consists of articles, correspondence, newspaper clippings, notes, a script, and Lowe's courtroom sketches from the 1981 Demjanjuk trial.
