Text reads 'We will defend it with our lives and fortunes.' Item 2 depicts two Confederate flags, crossed and joined with a snake, above the state seal of Maryland. Text reads 'Death before dishonor. Don't tread on us.' Item 3 depicts a Confederate flag, above the state seal of Tennessee. Text reads 'We have planted the standard. Tennessee is in the field.'
