Active membership was limited to thirty people committed to serving on committees and hosting meetings on a regular basis. The Club met on a monthly basis to hear speakers, plan events, and coordinate activities. Civic projects included decorating the Western Reserve Historical Society for holidays and seasons. Due to lack of meeting attendance and failure to attract new members, the Flower Pot Garden Club disbanded in 1993.
