Prior to the start of construction, the City of Cleveland, Ohio, and Cuyahoga County approved a 120 foot wide right-of-way along the proposed 5,600 foot path of the bridge from the intersection of Detroit Avenue, N.W. and 25th Street on the west side of the River, to the intersection of Superior Avenue, N.W. and 9th Avenue, N.W., on the east side of the River.
