He was the founder of the Best Stove and Repair Company and a trustee and chairman of the board of the North American Swiss Alliance. He also served as the first Swiss Consular Agent for the Ohio District around Cleveland from 1936 to 1950. The collection consists of machine copied newspaper articles and miscellaneous items such as letters, Christmas cards, a Michigan Central Railroad Company engineers' examination book, a typescript of an article by William R.
