| Abstract: | John Hurucz was a collector of articles on the Spanish Civil War of the 1930s and the people from Cleveland, Ohio, who participated in it. The collection consists of two scrapbooks of clippings concerning the Spanish Civil War and a 1977 account of travels through Spain by Eleanor Stamm. The collection pertains primarily to the events of the Spanish Civil War and the Clevelanders who participated in the conflict on the side of the loyalists. Also, the travel account includes observations on politics and life in Spain in 1977, after Franco's death. | ||
