 Abstract:  Joseph J. Nemanich (1908-1975) was the president of the American Slovenian Catholic Union (K.S.K.J.) and of the committee for the construction of the Slovenian Chapel in the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. The collection consists of American Slovenian Catholic Union (K.S.K.J.) correspondence, loan applications, published histories of the K.S.K.J, press releases, financial statements and minutes of the Slovenian Chapel Dedication Committee, and lists of delegates, committee assignments and executive staff recommendations for the K.S.K.J.'s 28th General Convention.
