	Abstract:	John Evelyn Denison Ossington was the speaker of England's House of Commons (1857-1872). He was created Viscount Ossington upon his retirement. The collection consists of typescript copies of diaries and of several letters (addressed to his mother) written while Denison was on a tour of Canada and the United States.
