 Abstract:  William Tully Bascom was an Ohio journalist and editor. His daughter Laura L., a music teacher and soloist, married Dr. Hiram H. Little. Their son, Tully Bascom Little, was a Cleveland businessman who became chairman of the National Defense Committee of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. W.T. Bascom's son, Gustavus, fought in the Civil War and became a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Army. The collection consists of correspondence, diaries, newspaper clippings, memorabilia, and genealogical and autobiographical material.

 Abstract:  James Little (b. 1842), the son of Scottish immigrants, was a farmer in Bayard, Ohio, who had three children, William (b. 1872), Anna (b. 1875) and Lizzie (b. 1877). William Little came to Cleveland, Ohio, in 1897 and eventually settled in Willoughby, Ohio. Anna married Webster Hart and moved to Elizabeth, Pennsylvania. Lizzie attended Mt. Union College and became a teacher. the collection consists of correspondence of members of the Little family to William Little.
