 Abstract:  The Cleveland, Ohio, branch of the English-Speaking Union of the United States was founded in 1923. It is a social and cultural club which promotes Anglo-American friendship and cultural interaction. The Union was active in British and French war relief efforts during World War II and coordinated housing for exiled British children in Cleveland homes. The collection consists of by-laws, minutes, lists of officers and directors, correspondence, committee files, publications and newspaper clippings.
