| Abstract: | Seniors of Ohio was an organization in Cleveland, Ohio, devoted to assisting the elderly, especially low-income elders, keeping them informed of national and local issues and promoting their concerns, particularly in respect to housing, transportation, security, legal counsel, and nutrition. The collection consists of correspondence and reports relating to various committees and councils organized to benefit Ohio's senior citizens. The records pertain to the efforts to aid low-income elderly in the Greater Cleveland area, particularly the nutrition program directed by Russell Davis as a means of implementing the Federal Nutrition Program for the Elderly. | |
