 Abstract:  Edwin Dibell (b. 1820) was a Baptist minister, of Kingsville, Ohio. The collection consists of of letters received by Dibell while he was at Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island, Hamilton Seminary, Madison County, New York, and Newton Theological Institute, Newton Center, Massachusetts; together with diaries (1855-1893), account books (1844-1855), an account (1847) of work done with seamen in Providence, Rhode Island, a sketch of the town of Kingsville, Ohio, and an autobiographical account of Dibell's life.
