| | Abstract: | Marion G. Turk was a Parma, Ohio, genealogist whose research on Channel Island families culminated in the 1983 publication of The Quiet Adventurers in North America. The collection consists of various subjects related to the genealogy of Channel Islands families. Included are views of Guernsey County, Ohio, Ohio Cemetery tombstones; the Machon family home on the Island of Jersey, the Sarchet family home, Cambridge, Ohio; and various tombstone photographs of Machon, Dore, Franklin, Sarchet, Thompson, Legallais, and Lecarn family members. | |
