Abstract: | Luther Martin Strong (1838-1903) was a lawyer, educator, and U.S. Representative from Ohio. The collection consists of official correspondence, inventories, invoices, quarterly return lists, receipts, and other documents, relating primarily to Strong's activities as commanding officer of Company G, 49th Regiment, Ohio Volunteer Infantry, during the Civil War. Included are a few deeds, speeches, and letters received by Strong and some land deeds of the Milliman family. | ||
