Abstract: | Irishtown Bend was the site of an Irish neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio, in the late 1800s. It was located in the riverbank in the Flats, by Riverbend Street from Columbus Road to the Detroit-Superior Bridge on the west bank of the Cuyahoga River.The site was excavated by a group of volunteers led by Dr. Al Lee. One of the volunteers was Sharon Baker. The collection consists of 17 photographs taken at the excavation site in 1988. | ||
