She was a teacher at the Murray Hill Elementary School located in Little Italy, an Italian immigrant neighborhood on Cleveland's East side, from 1903 to 1947. The collection consists of Bertha Blue's art course notebook, correspondence, newspaper clippings, St. John African Methodist Episcopal newsletters, scrapbooks, and Jane Lee Darr's resume and writings.
