He was married to Lucy B. Willard. The Willards owned land in North Beaver Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, and lived in Cleveland, Ohio. The collection consists of indentures, slave bills of sale, deeds, mortgages, wills, certificates, correspondence, commencement programs of the Cleveland High Schools and other schools (1875-76), and a manual of the Case Avenue Presbyterian Church.
