Their Ward, Charles Warring, assumed ownership of their land upon the death of Gilbert in 1897 and served as an Ashtabula County assessor, 1904-1912. The collection consists of correspondence, 1834-1914, from friends and relatives, a copy of a family ledger of births and deaths, purchase receipts, billing statements, and advertising circulars for farm equipment.
