The Manuel Levine Papers, 1908-1965 and undated, consist of correspondence, speeches by and about Levine, reports, legal documents, financial records such as receipts and bills of sale, photocopies of scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings, and copies of miscellaneous newspaper clippings, most of which relate to Judge Levine's career or to developments in the legal profession during the 1920s and 1930s.
This collection will be useful to researchers studying the history of the legal profession and the career of Manuel Levine in Cleveland, Ohio, during the twentieth century. It will also be of value to researchers studying the Jewish community of Cleveland.
The collection is arranged by document type and then chronologically.
